WORD, the journal of the International Linguistic Association, is inviting submissions – including articles and reviews - for Volume 61 (2015) and 62 (2016).
The Board of Editors invites contributions to the journal in the form of original articles on the structure, function, or historical development of natural languages, or on theoretical questions related to these. Submissions may be made online at the WORD Editorial Manager website. New users should first create an account. Once logged on to the site, submissions should be made via the Author Centre. Online user guides and access to a helpdesk are available on this website. Alternatively, manuscripts may be sent directly to the Managing Editor, Professor Jonathan J. Webster (e-mail: email@example.com). Anyone who has an idea for a special issue is also encouraged to send a proposal to Professor Webster.
Books or journals for review or listing may be sent to the Review Editor, Professor Edward J. Vajda, Western Washington University, Modern Languages-9057, Bellingham, WA 98225 (e-mail: Edward.Vajda@wwu.edu). Unsolicited reviews cannot be accepted. Anyone wishing to contribute a review is asked to consult with the Review Editor before submitting it.
Article and review manuscripts should conform to the format of WORD. Authors should consult WORD's style sheet (PDF) in preparing their manuscript.
Manuscripts that have been accepted for publication become the property of the International Linguistic Association. The editors are jointly responsible for the contents of the Journal. Opinions expressed in articles and reviews are those of the authors, and do not necessarily reflect those of the editors.
